The IEC Oregon Political Action Committee is the collective political voice of the merit-shop electrical contracting community. It affords contractors the opportunity to ensure individuals who represent the merit-shop philosophy are elected to public office. Making Your FREE $100 Contribution to IEC Oregon PAC – It Really Doesn’t Cost You Anything Oregon residents have a unique opportunity to make a free contribution to IEC Oregon PAC. Through Oregon’s political tax credit, married couples filing joint Oregon Income Tax Returns receive a dollar for dollar credit of up to $100 ($50 for singles and married couples filing separately) for contributions to PAC’s like IEC Oregon PAC. This is not a tax deduction but a credit. If you owe money on your tax return, you would owe $100 less. If you are owed a refund, your refund will be $100 more. It is not money that can be contributed to charity, but only to groups like IEC Oregon PAC.
