OREGON LICENSE RENEWAL
3 year cycle
Continuing Education is part of the requirement for renewing most Electrical Licenses.
The table below gives the requirements by license type.

General Supervising Electrican (S) 12 CC* / 24 CR*
Limited Supervising Electrican (PS) 12 CC* / 24 CR*
General Journeyman Electrician (J) 8 CC* / 24 CR*
Limited Journeyman Manufacturing (PJ) 8 CC* / 16 CR*
Plant Electrician
Limited Residential Electrician (LR) 4 CC* / 16 CR*
Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) 2 CC* / 8 CR*
Limited Energy Technician Class A (LEA) 8 CC* / 8 CR*
Limited Energy Technician Class B (LEB) 2 CC* / 8 CR*
Limited Renewable Energy Technician (LRT) 2 CC* / 4 CR*
Limited Journeyman Sign Electrician (SIG) 2 CC* / 4 CR*
CC = Code Change – The Code Change Continuing Education Credits must be full filled by taking Code Change classes only.
*CR = Code Related – This total of Continuing Education Credits are required in order to renew license however all credits required may be in Code Change.
